To love is to give and in the articles below are some small ways we have been privileged to give! 

 

GIVING TO FRONTLINERS & COVID-19 PATIENTS

      

In March & April 2020, we gave over 500 mini Dorsata Honey jars to the patients and staff of Sungai Buloh, Teluk Intan and Sunway Medical Hospital. We were (and still are) inspired by the medical profession’s courage and sacrificial dedication and we really appreciate them. If you are a frontliner, we really appreciate you. You are Malaysia’s true heroes! 

Along with giving to the medical staff, we also gave the mini honey together with a cheerful reminder to the Covid-19 patients in Hospital Sungai Buloh, reminding them that they are stronger than Covid-19 and wishing them a speedy recovery. 

 

BUTTER DAYS AHEAD
DORSATA HONEY x DIGNITY FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION

We feel for the needy. During the festive seasons when most people typically exchange gifts with friends and family, the needy may not be able to experience the same privilege that we get to enjoy. Hence, in February 2021 during Chinese New Year, we joined hands with our generous customers and friends! Together with them, we blessed a hundred and seventy B40 refugee families each with a jar of premium handcrafted butter cookies and a mini jar of Dorsata Honey.

 

FUNDRAISING FOR ARTESIAN WELL  

In May 2021, we learnt that a native village in Pahang we visited last year had plans to build an artesian well. As we strongly believe that everyone should have access to clean water, Dorsata Honey together with our generous customers, raised a total of RM3000 as part of the cost to construct the artesian well. Here’s to improving the lives of those around us to access basic necessities and more.  

HBF x DORSATA HONEY WHITE FLAG PROJECT 2021

     
      
    

When the #WhiteFlag campaign was borned in Malaysia, it was evident that countless numbers of families and individuals were facing a very tough period in their lives. Many barely made enough for food and shelter.

Hence, Dorsata Honey, as part of HBF (Happiness Business Fellowship) made swift action to extend help. With the team at HBF, we were able to reach more than 170 needy families, supporting them in their darkest periods.
